To belong to the Auxiliary, you must be 19 years of age.<\/h2>\n<h1>Here are the steps to applying to be an Auxiliary Volunteer:<\/h1>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP ONE:\u00a0 FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FORM<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2>There are three ways to access our application form.<\/h2>\n<h2>One:\u00a0 Pick one up at the hospital Info desk, Gift Shop or at our Thrift Shop on 3rd Ave.<\/h2>\n<h2>Two:\u00a0 Print a copy of the application form by clicking here\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pgauxiliary.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/1.-membership-form-July-2018.pdf\">Membership print form<\/a>\u00a0then fill it out by hand,<\/h2>\n<h2>Three:\u00a0 Go back to the main menu and under Volunteer Application Part Two, fill the application <span style=\"color: #800080;\">directly on line<\/span> on your computer or tablet.\u00a0 Hit &#8216;submit&#8217; and it will reach us!<\/h2>\n<h1>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP TWO: RCMP INFORMATION CHECK<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><strong>Click on the following site. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/princegeorge.rcmp-grc.gc.ca\/ViewPage.action?siteNodeId=1537&amp;languageId=1&amp;contentId=50048\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RCMP Information Check<\/a><\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0 When you reach this site, you will need to send the RCMP an email and they will send you an automated email with the pdf form for you to fill out.\u00a0\u00a0Fill out the form and take\u00a0it to the RCMP office downtown along with <strong>The RCMP confirmation letter below<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">If your computer or tablet will not allow you to access the RCMP form, you may have to get one from the RCMP office downtown when you bring them your confirmation letter below.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP THREE:\u00a0 PRINT THE CONFIRMATION LETTER<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Print and fill out the RCMP Auxiliary Confirmation Letter &#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pgauxiliary.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/RCMP-applicationConfirmation-letter.pdf\">RCMP Application Confirmation Letter<\/a><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bring this with you to the RCMP office. <\/span><\/span><\/strong>When\u00a0 the police check is completed, the RCMP will call you to pick up your police check form.<\/h2>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>STEP FOUR:\u00a0 CALL FOR AN INTERVIEW<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2>Once you have this RCMP form, contact Rhonda, Auxiliary Membership Convenor at 250-561-1765 to arrange an interview.\u00a0 You can bring the police check form to the interview.<\/h2>\n<h2>Thank you again for your interest.\u00a0 We look forward to meeting with you soon.<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Because of Covid-19 we are unable to accept new volunteers at this time.\u00a0 Please check back regularly.\u00a0 We are waiting for Northern Health to give us the go ahead to resume our services.\u00a0 Sept 2020 Thank you for your interest in the Auxiliary.
