\u00a0The Prince George hospital Auxiliary was established in 1919 and in 2019 we celebrated our 100th anniversary.\u00a0 The Prince George ‘Ladies Auxiliary’ was established by Mrs. Cowie, the first president.\u00a0 She was a driving force to support the needs of the hospital as they set out to raise money mainly for linens, drapes and other incidentals.\u00a0 The first piece of equipment they funded was an x-ray machine for the grand price of $500.00!\u00a0 In 2017 the Auxiliary to UHNBC funded over $200,000.00 worth of equipment to the hospital.<\/h2>\n

We\u00a0HOSTED the BCAHA Provincial Conference\u00a0April 14-17\u00a02019.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Over 150 delegates around the province attending opening ceremonies at the Inn of the North.<\/h3>\n

Entertainment was provided by dancers and musicians from Prince George.<\/h3>\n

A $10,000.00 scholarship for a northern medical\u00a0student at\u00a0UNBC.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n
