The executive of the auxiliary is pleased to announce the addition of Debra Paige and Carol Bukowski to the board as our newest directors. Karin Esslinger will be leaving for the south in the near future to be near to her family. We wish her well in her new location.

At the February Annual General Meeting, the membership voted to fund $90,000 for the purchase of 25 rentable Staxi wheelchairs and 2 mobile ECG machines.

Our Thrift Shop on 3rd Avenue is looking for new donations. They accept gently used clothing and household linens as well as toys, games and other household items. The first baby born at UHNBC in 2020 is a girl! Aubrey Nellis ( 7 pounds 13 ounces) was welcomed into the world at 12:21 am on January 1st. The Auxiliary is proud to gift a ‘Baby Cake’ basket to the new parents!
Once again this Christmas, Jos Van Hage from Art Knapps Nursery, has donated poinsettias to UHNBC. The flowers were adorned with bows donated by Prince George Florists. The plants were delivered to the hospital December 24th and distributed to patients by volunteers from the Auxiliary to UHNBC. The distribution was organized by Auxiliary volunteer Linda Schwab.
