YOUNG AT HEART AT THE THRIFT SHOP!!

These Thrift Store volunteers are really YOUNG AT HEART!!

These ladies, in their 80’s and 90’s are still volunteering and working at or for the Thrift Shop.  We congratulate and thank them for their dedication to the hospital community.

 

Sue Attridge

 

Sue started working with the Auxiliary in 2005.  She has worked in the Gift Shop, the Thrift Shop, Friends of Seniors and at the Information Desk.  Sue is an accomplished artist and has donated some of her lovely art work to brighten the walls of the medical lab.

Dorothy Lamb

Dorothy Lamb started working for the auxiliary in 1967.  In 2017 she received her 50 year pin!!!  She has helped in the Thrift Shop, and she has been an active knitter.  She has organized the Thrift shop buttons since 1993!! She has convened the delivery of poinsettias to hospital patients at Christmas. Dorothy also helped with Canada Health Day.

 

June MacKay
